is microblading right for you?
Pain tolerance varies from client to client. Keeping in mind that pain is subjective, most clients say they experience no discomfort during microblading. Any pain that was experienced has been compared to the feeling of a light scratch with minimal discomfort or the feeling of getting a waxing or tweezed. We leave a topical anesthetic on the eyebrow area for 20 minutes before we begin the process, so this leaves most clients totally numb during the procedure.
A typical micro blading procedure lasts up to 2 hours. Topical anesthetic is left on the brow before we begin the process. Our artist goes over how you want your brows to look and we work together to give the best brows for each clients facial features. Then we draw on the brows with a waterproof pencil. This will be the artists guide and that way the client can see the final look before the procedure is performed. Now the procedure is performed for about 30-45 mins. We remove any excess ink and photos are taken for record keeping.
Clients with existing eyebrow tattooing or permanent makeup come to us all the time. They want to know if we can perform microblading over the old tattoo. The truth is, we can’t always work on it if you already have an old eyebrow tattoo. However all hope is not lost!
- A consolation is required so that way we can determine whether or not we can work with you.
- We can perform the procedure if the old tattoo is faded enough and not too deep.
- If the old tattoo is too dark we do offer an advanced laser tattoo removal called pico genesis. With 1-2 session, brows will be faded enough to work over.
